My biggest annoyance in simulation is when facilities or individuals don't allow learners to be as hands on as possible with equipment. The typical example is "verbalize what you would do/what you did" typically it's a monetary thing to avoid "damaging or replacement costs". I understand negligent damage avoidance, but why buy the equipment if you don't intend on letting the learners use all of the features?
